Veterinarija ir Zootechnika is an international, peer‑reviewed, open‑access scientific journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in veterinary medicine, animal science, and food safety. Published twice per year online, the journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, short communications, and case reports that contribute to scientific progress and practical innovation in the field.
The journal highlights key areas of veterinary and animal sciences, including animal health and welfare, nutrition and breeding, genetics and pathology, epidemiology and zoonoses, food safety, veterinary public health, and innovative diagnostic and technological solutions.
With a publishing tradition dating back to 1924, the journal continues to serve as a trusted platform for scientific innovation. Since 2010, it has been published by the Veterinary Academy of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
